The registrations for MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test ) have started. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the same at the official website. The exam is scheduled to be conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra on May 5.

Candidates have to fill the application form in online mode only. The exam is conducted for admission to first year full-time degree courses of Health Sciences (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O and BSc. Nursing, B.V.Sc. & AH) and Technical Education (Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Pharm. D.) for the commencing academic session. The application form will be available till March 22. Those who have cleared Class 12 or equivalent and want to pursue undergraduate programmes in Maharashtra engineering colleges, can apply for MHT-CET.

The candidates interested in applying for this exam should have passed Class 12 from any recognised board or equivalent in India. They should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (45 per cent for SC/ST/OBC candidates). The candidates of Maharashtra must have obtained a positive composite score (Combination of JEE Main 2015 and Boards Marks).

MHT-CET-2016 will be conducted in the following cities:

Mumbai, Mumbai Sub Urban, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurga, Jalgaon, Dhule, Nandurbar, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Osmanabad, Nanded, Parbhani, Latur, Hingoli, Buldhana, Akola, Washim, Amravati, Yavatmal, Wardha, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli.
